Brad Ferguson began flexible entry engineering at University of Wollongong but instead decided Mechanical Engineering was the field for him as he enjoyed the challenge engineering provided and theopportunity to work and solve problems that may be encountered in any machine, industrial orproduction system. He was findingthe course challenging but enjoyable particularly applying theory inlaboratory situations.Brad had found the demands of the course in his second year were more significant. He had used hisgrant to pay for accommodation.
The fund was established to provide much needed financial assistance and support to local youth to help them achieve their post high school education, training and vocation aspirations. Theysupport a diverse range of education and career pursuits including apprenticeships, traineeships, cadetships, degrees, diplomas and certificate level studies or entry careers.
