A dramatic fight between US actor and artist Shia LaBeouf and his longtime girlfriend, Mia Goth, has been filmed by an onlooker.
The video, which was obtained by Entertainment Tonight, shows LaBeouf, 29, and Goth, 22, having a disagreement on the street in Tubingen, Germany.
When approached by a group of German men trying to stop the argument (one of whom was behind the camera), LaBeouf tells the group he is “being pushed” by Goth.
“I don’t want to touch a woman, I don’t want to hit a woman, but I’m being pushed,” he tells the men, who repeatedly say “no” in agreement.
“You are great,” one of the men says, before offering to drive LaBeouf to the airport.
LaBeouf then approaches Goth, asking for his bag.
“I don’t wanna touch you, I don’t wanna be aggressive,” he tells Goth.
“This is the kind of shit that makes a person abusive,” he adds.
In video footage taken inside the men’s car after the incident, the actor suggests that if he had stayed with Goth for the rest of the night, he “would have killed her”.
“If I’d have stayed there, I would have killed her,” he says.
“It’s hard, bro. Really f—ed up in your heart.”
LaBeouf was in Germany to visit Goth, who is also an actor and is in the country filming A Cure for Wellness.
The couple met in 2012 on the set of Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac.
There have been recent rumours they were to be married, after Goth was seen wearing a large diamond ring in March.
Although probably best known for his role as an action hero in the Transformers series, LaBeouf has recently made the transition from actor to performance artist.
He made headlines in January 2014 after he announced that his Twitter account was “meta-modernist performance art”.
In February of the same year, LaBeouf attended a red-carpet event at the Berlin Film Festival with a paper bag over his head that read, “I am not famous any more”.
Last month, the actor was involved in a film by students at Central Saint Martins, London’s University of the Arts, which saw him deliver an impassioned motivational speech in front of a green screen, repeatedly yelling, “Just do it”.
